How we vet recipient partners
We take great care in ensuring that our partner nonprofits meet high standards of accountability and reliability. To qualify, they must be contracted providers with Area Agencies on Aging, aligning with federal and state accountability measures. Furthermore, our partners must be members of the Meals on Wheels America network and meet the nutrition standards set forth by the Older Americans Act Title III-C. We prioritize organizations with no or minimal waiting lists, indicating sufficient resources to meet local demands.
How proceeds flow
After covering tow and processing costs, approximately 70-80% of gross auction proceeds are directed to supporting our partner programs.
